Using Christian Hypocrites as an Excuse

The scribes and the Pharisees sit on Moses' seat, so do and observe whatever they tell you, but not the works they do. For they preach, but do not practice. (Matthew 23:2-3 ESV)

There are some who declare that they refuse to be Christians when they found Christians to be hypocrites. The truth is those who refused to be Christians have already rejected Christ. They just use the Christian hypocrites as an excuse. After all, Christians are called to follow Christ, not other Christians. Since Christ is not a hypocrite, why should they reject Him?

They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us. But they went out, that it might become plain that they all are not of us. (1 John 2:19 ESV)

When Right Things Are Done By Wrong People

But a Samaritan, as he journeyed, came to where he was, and when he saw him, he had compassion. He went to him and bound up his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he set him on his own animal and brought him to an inn and took care of him. And the next day he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper, saying, 'Take care of him, and whatever more you spend, I will repay you when I come back.' (Luke 10:33-35 ESV)

Liberals and many unbelievers in America advocate gun control. The conservatives and many believers wanted to uphold the right to bear arms.

It is right that weapons of mass destruction should be kept under control but it is the unbelievers that suggest that. But God has told us to seek Him for protection.

Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God. (Psalm 20:7 ESV)

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. (Psalm 46:1 ESV)

Drug Traffickers Brought The Gospel To China

Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall. (Proverbs 16:18 ESV)

The British East India Company brought opium to China, fought a war (1839-1842), won it and forced China to sign the unequal Treaty of Nanjing, (29 August 1842) where the terms include the legalization of opium trade and the preaching of the gospel.

God sent the Gospel to China via drug traffickers. Why did God not choose to send the Gospel in a more "moral" way?

Because the Chinese are a very proud people. Only those who humble themselves shall be saved. For those who keep harping on the "century of humiliation" because their pride is hurt, they cannot see God.

Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you. (James 4:10 ESV)

God Chose The Unqualified

These are realities that, if you do not accept, will lead to frustration because you will be spending money on wrong assumptions and the results cannot follow.
