Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ. (Acts 20:21 KJV)
Repentance in Greek - to think differently afterwards; a change of mind.
Repentance in Hebrew - to change the direction.
We need repentance toward God. We need to think differently about God and Jesus Christ. We recognize our sins and realized our need for a savior. When we do that, we can have faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.
