These are the core beliefs of Christianity which anyone who truly interpret the Bible correctly will agree upon:
- The Inerrancy of Scripture (Psalms 12:6-7; Romans 15:4; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20)
- The Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ (John 1:1; John 20:28; Hebrews 1:8-9)
- The Virgin Birth of Christ (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:27)
- The Substitutionary Atonement of Christ (Acts 20:28; Romans 3:25; Romans 5:9; Ephesians 1:7; Hebrews 9:12-14)
- The Bodily Resurrection of Christ (Luke 24:36-46; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4; 1 Corinthians 15:14-15)
The core of the core is statement 4, that Jesus had died for our sins and anyone who believe that He had died for our sins will be saved (John 3:36; 1 Peter 2:24). One of the themes of the Bible is God saves and He is choosing a people for Himself (Romans 8:29-30; Ephesians 1:4; 1 Peter 2:9).
