Hope, Fear and Obama

President Obama, in his inaugural speech, called for "hope over fear". But hope is always based on faith. Faith ought to be based on truth, though often it is based on lies. If faith is based on lies, when the time of reckoning comes, you will get fear, which is the opposite of hope. America's fear today came from a false hope based on a faith that is based on lies. Now President Obama is giving them hope. Is the faith of this hope based on truth? If it is not, then when the time of reckoning comes, America and the rest of the world will have a bigger fear.
