How are we saved?
Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; (1 Corinthians 15:3), the just for the unjust, so that He might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit; (1 Peter 3:18), Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed (1 Peter 2:24).
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him (2 Corinthians 5:21), who gave Himself for our sins so that He might rescue us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father (Galatians 1:4).
