The sons of Japheth: Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, and Tiras. The sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz, Riphath, and Togarmah. (Genesis 10:2-3 ESV)
The sons of Ham: Cush, Egypt, Put, and Canaan. (Genesis 10:6 ESV)
The Hebrew word rosh (רֹ֖אשׁ) in Ezekiel 38:2-3 is translated as a proper noun in NASB95 and NKJV and an adjective in most other versions. Almost all the nations in Ezekiel 38:1-6 is found in Genesis 10:2-6. Only Persia is not found. If you believe that Rosh is a proper noun, then Rosh is the other exception. Persia existed during Ezekiel's time. What about Rosh?
