Undeserved Grace of God

And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness. (Romans 4:22 KJV)
But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. (Romans 4:5 KJV)

The concept of the undeserved grace of God is introduced early in the Bible, in Genesis, where Abraham is reckoned as righteous by the grace of God (Genesis 15:6). Men are such great sinners that all system devised by them will fail, and if they succeed, it is by the undeserved grace of God.

Democracy does not work, but succeeds in United States and Western Europe because the concept of the equality of men is embedded into it because of the Bible.

Meritocracy is fair, but it did not reckon that men are sinful and unfair, which means that meritocracy will break down after one or two generations.

Every fair system will break down because of the sinfulness of men. No checks and balances can prevent it.
