Gentleness

A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth. (Isaiah 42:3 KJV)

During the Wednesday night prayer meeting, elder Cheong shared on "Kindness & Gentleness". An act of kindness has a three-way effect, on the helped, the helper and the observers.

Definition
Gentleness - power under perfect control;

Example
God has great power, but He exercise it with great gentleness. And Jesus is our great example in gentleness.

Application
Especially to our loved ones and family, where we normally show our true colour.

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God, but made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men, and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
