That in all things he might have the preeminence

Three questions:
1. Why is Christ preeminent?
2. What is Christ's preeminence?
3. Is Christ's preeminence reflecting in your life?

Why is Christ preeminent?
1. He is the Creator - For by him were all things created (1:16-17).
2. Firstborn from the dead (1:18)
3. For it pleased the Father (1:19)

What is Christ's preeminence?
1. In all things - that in all things he might have the preeminence (1:18).

Is Christ's preeminence reflecting in your life?
1. Word - And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus (Col 3:17
2. Walk - that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called (Eph 4:1)
3. Motive - That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God (Col 1:10)
4. Testimony - He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked (1 John 2:6).
