Yesterday, I received an SMS from my boss, telling me that my colleague, after coming back from 5 days MC, had, by mutual understanding, decide to leave the company and yesterday was his last day.
This morning, my boss repeated to me again about him leaving based on mutual understanding about his medical condition. At first I thought that he was stressed out by the job, took 5 days MC, and came back and decide to go. It took me till noon time before I realize that my boss actually use the 5 days MC to persuade him to leave. Otherwise, why would anyone leave a job, especially when he has a one year old son and a wife?
