Ex-colleague Passed Away

An ex-colleague, Mervyn Jui Meng Tan, passed away yesterday (Sunday) morning after 5 a.m.

I was first notified by a friend in the WhatsApp chat group about a post by Bernice Choo, quoted below:

According to the message from his Facebook group PHV Riders and Drivers Singapore - Grab Ryde Kardi Filo Jugnoo co-admin Bok Chek Yang, he collapsed in the morning and the doctors were not able to revive him.

It is with a heavy heart that I would like to inform you that Mervyn Jui Meng Tan, our group founder has passed away this morning. Although he had been plagued with many ailments, this is very sudden. My co admin Sriram and I had been in constant contact with him through messaging and he had not shown any signs of distress. The cause of death is not known at this point in time. Mervyn had collapsed this morning and doctors weren't able to revive him.
We are shocked and saddened by Mervyn's passing. The admin team of the group would like to express our condolences to his wife and family.

His passing was unexpected and sudden. His last Facebook post on Sunday morning at 5 a.m. was about some games (Texas Holdem Poker) which he just won. He was 53.
