In paradise
Jesus answered him, "Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise." (Luke 23:43 NIV)
Therefore it says, "When he ascended on high he captured captives; he gave gifts to men." Now what is the meaning of "he ascended," except that he also descended to the lower regions, namely, the earth? (Ephesians 4:8-9 NET Bible)
