Good Works Cannot Save From Belief in Lies

Now there is a deadly coronavirus, called covid-19, spreading in the city of Wuhan (武漢) in China. Suppose there is a good man, who is full of good works, always helping people in disaster area, decides to go to Wuhan to help the city. Then someone lied to him and said that covid-19 is mild, does not spread easily and not deadly. And he believes this lie and did not make preparations. Then he will die from infection. Although he may have noble motives and done many good deeds, he will still die if he believe in lies.

"You will not certainly die," the serpent said to the woman. (Genesis 3:4 NIV)
