Diversity

God made some rich.
Now Abram was very rich in livestock, in silver, and in gold. (Genesis 13:2 ESV)

He made some go through hard times.
Three times I was beaten with rods. Once I was stoned. Three times I was shipwrecked. Once I spent a whole night and a day adrift at sea. (2 Corinthians 11:25 NLT)

Others are just mentioned.
Greet Apelles, who is approved in Christ. Greet those who belong to the family of Aristobulus. (Romans 16:10 ESV)

Judah And Joseph - Visible And Invisible Israel

There are always two Israels, the visible and invisible. Judah is always visible and Joseph is always invisible.

When Israel was alive, Judah and his brothers told Israel that Joseph was dead. When Israel found Joseph again, he was the governor of all Egypt.
They told him, "Joseph is still alive! In fact, he is ruler of all Egypt." Jacob was stunned; he did not believe them. (Genesis 45:26 NIV)

Today Joseph is missing again, with many of his brothers. They became the lost tribes of Israel. But when Israel find Joseph again, he shall become a multitude of nations.
But his father refused. "I know, my son; I know," he replied. "Manasseh will also become a great people, but his younger brother will become even greater. And his descendants will become a multitude of nations." (Genesis 48:19 NLT)

Life Is Short, Death Is Sure; Sin the Cause, Christ the Cure.

Interesting quote I found in this link, but is also all over the internet.

Life Is Short, Death Is Sure;
Sin the Cause, Christ the Cure.

Then there is a slight variation in this picture:

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23 KJV)

Word Transmission - Bible vs Koran

God declares His Word to Israel and no other nations. We know this is true from history.
He declares his word to Jacob, his statutes and judgments to Israel. He has not done this for every nation; they do not know his judgments. Hallelujah! (Psalm 147:19-20 CSB)

Allah said he has declare his word to every nation although there is no proof that he had done so.
Indeed, We sent forth among every nation a Messenger,; saying: 'Serve you God, and eschew idols.' Then some of them God guided, and some were justly disposed to error. So journey in the land, and behold how was the end of them that cried lies. (Quran 16:36 Arberry)
We have sent you in all truth as a bearer of glad news and a warner. No nation who lived before was left without a warner. (Quran 35:24 Muhammad Sarwar)

The Coming Global Warming

The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and it was allowed to scorch people with fire. They were scorched by the fierce heat, and they cursed the name of God who had power over these plagues. They did not repent and give him glory. (Revelation 16:8-9 ESV)

Global warming will come. The world will be scorching hot and there is nothing the people can do to prevent it. Even if we stop using coal and oil and start using renewable energy sources such as solar or wind power, global warming will still happen. The power to heat or cool is not in the people. It is in the sun. This is something obvious but some people just don't get it.

Talking of wind power, how does wind power work without wind?

What do you mean by without wind? There will always be wind.

No. The Bible tells us that one day, there will be no wind.

After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth, that no wind might blow on earth or sea or against any tree. (Revelation 7:1 ESV)

God Predestines By Chance

So she set out and went and gleaned in the field after the reapers, and she happened to come to the part of the field belonging to Boaz, who was of the clan of Elimelech. (Ruth 2:3 ESV)

Ruth happened to glean at Boaz's field by chance. If not, she would not have met Boaz and became the ancestor of David and Jesus. If there is no Jesus, we will not become Christians. We are so lucky that Ruth happened to glean at Boaz's field by chance.

For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. (Romans 8:29 ESV)

Saved By Luck

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV)

Today's (22-Feb-2019) Toto jackpot is about SGD 13.6 million. There may be a lucky winner. Will the lucky winner reject the prize by saying this, "What about the other people? What about those who are not in Singapore to be given a chance to win the prize? How can Toto be so unfair that I am the only winner?" I don't think so.

Yet there are so many people, when I told them about Jesus being the only way to be saved, they responded like this, "What about those who has never heard?" What has that got to do with you? You heard. You are the lucky winner! Are you going to reject the good news of Jesus Christ because of those who have not heard?

We are saved by luck. We are lucky to be saved. It is just like striking lottery. Only it is far, far better. We do not get riches where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal and we leave behind when we die. We get eternal life with God.

"The LORD did not set His love on you nor choose you because you were more in number than any of the peoples, for you were the fewest of all peoples, but because the LORD loved you and kept the oath which He swore to your forefathers, the LORD brought you out by a mighty hand and redeemed you from the house of slavery, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt. (Deuteronomy 7:7-8 NASB)

God's Tolerance of Evil

I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say, 'My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.' (Isaiah 46:10 NIV)

From ancient times till today, we always hear this question, "If there is a god, why does he allow so much evil and suffering?"

The usual conclusions we get are:
  1. God wanted to stop suffering but could not. He is not omnipotent.
  2. God can stop suffering but will not. He is a sadist.
  3. God does not exist. He is just some imagination by men to ease their sufferings.
"Either God wants to abolish evil, and cannot; or he can, but does not want to. If he wants to, but cannot, he is impotent. If he can, but does not want to, he is wicked. If God can abolish evil, and God really wants to do it, why is there evil in the world?" Epicurus (Greek philosopher, BC 341-270)

"I think God is 100% benevolent but only 80% effective," - Jim Holt
(Tweets by Barnyardstories@BrianJBarnes442 11:11 AM - 2 Sep 2014)

This is what the Bible tells us about the problem of evil and God's solution.

Cause of evil
The evil in the present world is caused by men's disobedience. (Romans 5:12)

Solution to evil
God send His son to die for our sins. (1 Peter 3:18)

Continuation of evil
But evil continue to flourish as if nothing has been done. This is because God is not willing that anyone to perish, but all should come to repentance. (2 Peter 3:9)

End of evil
The Bible tells us that one day, God will put an end to evil and Jesus the Anointed One will rule the world. (Revelation 11:15)

We Love Because He First Loved Us

We love because he first loved us. (1 John 4:19 ESV)

Nobody can experience true love with knowing God's love. Without understanding God's sacrificial love for us, our own unworthiness to receive this love, it would not be possible for us to truly love others. Usually our love for others is love for self masquerading as love.

Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. (1 John 4:8 ESV)

Until He Comes Whose Rights It Is

Moreover I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in a place of their own, and move no more; neither shall the children of wickedness afflict them any more, as beforetime,
And as since the time that I commanded judges to be over my people Israel, and have caused thee to rest from all thine enemies. Also the Lord telleth thee that he will make thee an house.
And when thy days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom.
He shall build an house for my name, and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever.
I will be his father, and he shall be my son. If he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men:
But my mercy shall not depart away from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away before thee.
And thine house and thy kingdom shall be established for ever before thee: thy throne shall be established for ever.
(2 Samuel 7:10-16 KJV)

I will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no more, until he come whose right it is; and I will give it him. (Ezekiel 21:27 KJV)

The scepter will not depart from Judah, nor the ruler's staff from between his feet, until he to whom it belongs shall come and the obedience of the nations shall be his. (Genesis 49:10 NIV)

Gods and Kings Punished

During the Day of the Lord, Jesus will punish the petty gods and kings.

On that day the LORD will punish the host of heaven, in heaven, and the kings of the earth, on the earth. (Isaiah 24:21 ESV)

Created For God's Glory

I will say to the north, Give up, and to the south, Do not withhold; bring my sons from afar and my daughters from the end of the earth, everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made." (Isaiah 43:6-7 ESV)

And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit. (2 Corinthians 3:18 ESV)

Good News! Salvation is Free!

Good news! Salvation is free and without cost. All has been paid for on the cross. Look and be saved! Why is it that so many had refused so great a salvation that is free, all of grace? I cannot understand.

"Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost. (Isaiah 55:1 NIV)
He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world. (1 John 2:2 ESV)
And they said, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household." (Acts 16:31 ESV)
If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9 NLT)
But everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved, for some on Mount Zion in Jerusalem will escape, just as the LORD has said. These will be among the survivors whom the LORD has called. (Joel 2:32 NLT)
But everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved.' (Acts 2:21 NLT)
For "Everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved." (Romans 10:13 NLT)
Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. (Isaiah 45:22 KJV)
How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; (Hebrews 2:3 KJV)

Infiltration From Both Ends

From legalism
This matter arose because some false believers had infiltrated our ranks to spy on the freedom we have in Christ Jesus and to make us slaves. (Galatians 2:4 NIV)

From antinomianism
For certain individuals whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord. (Jude 1:4 NIV)

Serpent In Eden

Now the serpent was more crafty than any other beast of the field that the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, "Did God actually say, 'You shall not eat of any tree in the garden'?" And the woman said to the serpent, "We may eat of the fruit of the trees in the garden, but God said, 'You shall not eat of the fruit of the tree that is in the midst of the garden, neither shall you touch it, lest you die.'" But the serpent said to the woman, "You will not surely die. For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil." So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate, and she also gave some to her husband who was with her, and he ate. Then the eyes of both were opened, and they knew that they were naked. And they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves loincloths. (Genesis 3:1-7 ESV)

This is the first time someone promised human beings that their eyes will be opened if they do certain things, in this case, to eat the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil. This is what the serpent told the woman:
  1. You will not die;
  2. You will be like God;
  3. Your eyes will be opened;
  4. You will know good and evil.
Until today, we are still suffering from the impact of this decision by our first parents. We know good and evil, but unlike God, we are badly affected by evil. The serpent made four statements, but only 3 and 4 are true.

Did anyone come to you promising to open your eyes? Beware! You may not like what you see.

Once Saved Always Saved - What About Judas Iscariot?

Once saved, always saved. A great promise by our Lord.
I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand. (John 10:28-29 ESV)

However, from the perspective of the world, there are Christians who sinned and fall away, or change religion. Thus they conclude that Christians can lose their salvation.

This is a false conclusion. The apostle John told us that those who had fallen were not of us, else they would have continued with us. When they left, it proved that they did not belong with us.
They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us. But they went out, that it might become plain that they all are not of us. (1 John 2:19 ESV)

Judas Iscariot was a perfect example. He was chosen and also not chosen.
Jesus answered them, "Did I not choose you, the twelve? And yet one of you is a devil." (John 6:70 ESV)

But from the beginning, long even before the birth of Jesus, it has been prophesied in the Psalms that one who ate bread together with Jesus would betray Him.
Even my close friend in whom I trusted, who ate my bread, has lifted his heel against me. (Psalm 41:9 ESV)

But Jesus knew whom He had chosen and Judas Iscariot was not among them.
I am not speaking of all of you; I know whom I have chosen. But the Scripture will be fulfilled, 'He who ate my bread has lifted his heel against me.' (John 13:18 ESV)

From the perspective of the world, Judas Iscariot had lost his salvation. But for us, he was never saved in the first place.

Once saved, always saved is not a false doctrine. It is a blessed assurance given by our great God.

Mary - Bible vs Koran

In the Quran, Mary, the mother of Jesus, was the sister of Aaron and daughter of Amram.
Then she brought him to her people, carrying him. They said, "O Mary, you have certainly done a thing unprecedented. O sister of Aaron, your father was not a man of evil, nor was your mother unchaste." (19:27-28 Sahih International)
And [the example of] Mary, the daughter of 'Imran, who guarded her chastity, so We blew into [her garment] through Our angel, and she believed in the words of her Lord and His scriptures and was of the devoutly obedient. (66:12 Sahih International)

In the Bible, Mary's siblings and parents were not explicitly mentioned, though some believed Luke's genealogy was Mary's. However, there is another Mary (or Miriam), who was the sister of Aaron and daughter of Amram.
Jesus, when he began his ministry, was about thirty years of age, being the son (as was supposed) of Joseph, the son of Heli, (Luke 3:23 ESV)
The children of Amram: Aaron, Moses, and Miriam. The sons of Aaron: Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar. (1 Chronicles 6:3 ESV)

How God Proves Himself To Be God

Who is like me? Let him proclaim it. Let him declare and set it before me, since I appointed an ancient people. Let them declare what is to come, and what will happen. (Isaiah 44:7 ESV)
Everything I prophesied has come true, and now I will prophesy again. I will tell you the future before it happens." (Isaiah 42:9 NLT)

God proved that He is God by establishing the nation of Israel and foretelling their history in His revelation to His prophets.

Tell us the coming events, then we will know that you are gods. Indeed, do something good or bad, then we will be in awe when we see it. (Isaiah 41:23 CSB)
All the nations gather together, and the peoples assemble. Who among them can declare this, and show us the former things? Let them bring their witnesses to prove them right, and let them hear and say, It is true. (Isaiah 43:9 ESV)

The god, gods, idols and buddhas of other nations cannot do this.

Faith Love Growth

Faith
To trust in our self is the greatest impediment to our faith;
Next is to trust in money.

Love
To love our self is the greatest impediment to love God.

Growth
The easiest way to Christian growth is to grow the new man.

Paul's Gospel Came Directly From Jesus

Now I want you to know, brothers, that the gospel preached by me is not based on human thought. For I did not receive it from a human source and I was not taught it, but it came by a revelation from Jesus Christ. (Galatians 1:11-12 HCSB)

God Informs In Advance

God informs us events before it happens so that you will believe that He is God.
Indeed, the Sovereign LORD never does anything until he reveals his plans to his servants the prophets. (Amos 3:7 NLT)
I am telling you now before it happens, so that when it does happen you will believe that I am he. (John 13:19 CSB)

God told Noah He will wipe out the world with a flood.
And God said to Noah, "I have determined to make an end of all flesh, for the earth is filled with violence through them. Behold, I will destroy them with the earth. (Genesis 6:13 ESV)

God told Abraham He will destroy Sodom and Gomorrah.
The LORD said, "Shall I hide from Abraham what I am about to do, seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? (Genesis 18:17-18 ESV)

God told Habakkuk that He will use the Chaldeans to punish Judah and send them into captivity.
For behold, I am raising up the Chaldeans, that bitter and hasty nation, who march through the breadth of the earth, to seize dwellings not their own. (Habakkuk 1:6 ESV)

God told Jeremiah that the Jews will return from Babylon after 70 years of captivity.
"For thus says the LORD: When seventy years are completed for Babylon, I will visit you, and I will fulfill to you my promise and bring you back to this place. (Jeremiah 29:10 ESV)
During the first year of his reign, I, Daniel, learned from reading the word of the LORD, as revealed to Jeremiah the prophet, that Jerusalem must lie desolate for seventy years. (Daniel 9:2 NLT)

God revealed to Daniel that another 490 years will be allocated to Jerusalem.
"Seventy weeks are decreed about your people and your holy city, to finish the transgression, to put an end to sin, and to atone for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal both vision and prophet, and to anoint a most holy place. (Daniel 9:24 ESV)

God revealed to Daniel that the Anointed One will come and will be cut off after 483 years. Jerusalem will be destroyed.
Know and understand this: From the issuing of the decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until an Anointed One, the ruler, will be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks. It will be rebuilt with a plaza and a moat, but in difficult times. After those sixty-two weeks the Anointed One will be cut off and will have nothing. The people of the coming ruler will destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end will come with a flood, and until the end there will be war; desolations are decreed. (Daniel 9:25-26 CSB)

God told Zechariah that the Anointed One will return by landing on Mount of Olives.
On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem. And the Mount of Olives will split apart, making a wide valley running from east to west. Half the mountain will move toward the north and half toward the south. (Zechariah 14:4 NLT)

The angels also told the apostles the same thing as Jesus the Anointed One ascended to heaven from Mount of Olives.
"Men of Galilee," they said, "why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven." Then the apostles returned to Jerusalem from the hill called the Mount of Olives, a Sabbath day's walk from the city. (Acts 1:11-12 NIV)

Jesus the Anointed One personally told the apostle John that He is coming soon.
He who testifies about these things says, "Yes, I am coming quickly." Amen! Come, Lord Jesus! (Revelation 22:20 HCSB)

Global Warming

There is nothing we can do about climate change and global warming because the weather is controlled by God. The Bible tells us that hot days are ahead.

Moreover, the light of the moon will be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun will be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day when the LORD binds up the brokenness of his people, and heals the wounds inflicted by his blow. (Isaiah 30:26 ESV)

Even in the future millennium, when we may be more advanced in technology, the weather will still be controlled by God. If we can control the weather, then this threat by God through the prophet Zechariah is meaningless.

And if any of the families of the earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, there will be no rain on them. (Zechariah 14:17 ESV)

Saying Grace Before Food

In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. (1 Thessalonians 5:18 KJV)
So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. (1 Corinthians 10:31 ESV)

We are supposed to give thanks for the food before every meal. The prayer formula usually goes something like this, "Lord, thank you for the food that you have given us, thank you for the hands that prepared the food and bless it to our body, in Jesus' name we pray, amen."

I give thanks for the food, especially when I realized that I like the food I eat most of the time. I thank God that I am able to enjoy my food. I am glad that I have food, and that I am able to eat. For those rare occasions that I don't like my food, I remember that there are many who will appreciate what I have because they may not have enough to eat.

When I am eating at home, my thanks for the hands that prepared the food are genuine. But when I am eating out, I may have said it as part of a formula I remembered.

Blessing the food to our body is also my genuine request. Since I am not particularly fastidious about what I eat, I need my Lord's help to ensure that the many harmful stuff I eat is taken care of.

Testing God Through Obedience

You cannot test God by asking for what you want.
"You shall not put the LORD your God to the test, as you tested him at Massah. (Deuteronomy 6:16 ESV)

You can test God by obeying Him.
Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the LORD of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need. (Malachi 3:10 ESV)
And Simon answered, "Master, we toiled all night and took nothing! But at your word I will let down the nets." (Luke 5:5 ESV)

Working Without Word

And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net. (Luke 5:5 KJV)

Toiled all night
Simon Peter and his partners were professional fishermen. But they toiled all night in their own effort and they caught nothing.

At thy word
But he obeyed the Word of God and caught so many fish that their nets began ripping apart.

Working without the word
When we were young, we were told to work hard. We were told not to be lazy. It is not wrong to work hard. The Bible commends those who worked hard (1 Thessalonians 5:12, 1 Timothy 5:17). But we worked and worked and worked, thinking that we will be rewarded for our effort. Sometimes we seemed to like the hard work for itself. But we worked without the word. The result is we have nothing.

Our real work
Remember this. Our work is to believe in the One whom He sent.

Jesus told them, "This is the only work God wants from you: Believe in the one he has sent." (John 6:29 NLT)

God is Faithful

If we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself. (2 Timothy 2:13 NASB)

Since the beginning of the year, I made a resolution to (as advised by Rev Stephen Schaefer) pray daily to be filled with the Spirit so that I have no room for other things (Ephesians 5:18). Like all resolutions, I started to slip and forgot to pray. But I am so glad that my God is faithful and I do not depend on myself, but on Him who will bring to my remembrance my resolution and cause me to continue in it and also to answer my prayer.

Know therefore that the LORD your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments. (Deuteronomy 7:9 NIV)
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9 ESV)
He who calls you is faithful; he will surely do it. (1 Thessalonians 5:24 ESV)
But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one. (2 Thessalonians 3:3 ESV)
God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. (1 Corinthians 1:9 ESV)
What if some were unfaithful? Does their faithlessness nullify the faithfulness of God? By no means! Let God be true though every one were a liar, as it is written, "That you may be justified in your words, and prevail when you are judged." (Romans 3:3-4 ESV)

The Red Heifer

"Here is another legal requirement commanded by the LORD: Tell the people of Israel to bring you a red heifer, a perfect animal that has no defects and has never been yoked to a plow. (Numbers 19:2 NLT)

Accord to "For Real, How Rare Is a Red Heifer? - Questions & Answers", these are the requirements of the red heifer:
QUOTE
  1. The cow must be, at a minimum, within its third year of life (i.e., two years plus a bit).
  2. It needs to be completely red. Even two hairs of a different color next to each other or three that are far apart disqualify it.
  3. All physical blemishes that disqualify sacrificial animals, disqualify a red heifer as well.
  4. Any work done with it disqualifies the cow. "Work" in this case includes even a person leaning on it or placing a garment or cloth upon it (unless this was done to only safeguard the animal itself).
  5. Placing a yoke on the cow, even if it doesn’t actually do any work, also disqualifies it.
  6. If the heifer is pregnant, or even if a male has mated with it, it is disqualified.
UNQUOTE

Quoting from the same source,
QUOTE
There is, however, a common misconception about the rarity of the red heifer. Maimonides writes:
"Nine red heifers were offered from the time that they were commanded to fulfill this mitzvah until the time when the Temple was destroyed a second time. The first was brought by Moses, our teacher. The second was brought by Ezra. Seven others were offered until the destruction of the Second Temple. And the tenth will be brought by the King Moshiach; may he speedily be revealed. Amen, so may it be God's will."
Some take these words to mean that only nine qualifying red heifers have ever existed, and the birth of the tenth one will be a sign of the redemption. In truth, however, the ashes of a red heifer can last for a very long time, since only a very small amount was needed to be mixed with the purifying waters. So the fact that only nine were ever used for purification purposes does not mean that only nine were ever born, just that only nine were needed or used thus far.

What Happens When We Are Born Again?

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. (John 3:3 KJV)
Jesus replied, "I tell you the solemn truth, unless a person is born from above, he cannot see the kingdom of God." (John 3:3 NET)

What happens when we are born again?
We become a child of God.
But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. (John 1:12-13 ESV)
We are born of incorruptible seed.
Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. (1 Peter 1:23 KJV)
We become the citizen of the kingdom.
