I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say, 'My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.' (Isaiah 46:10 NIV)
The Bible is a book that recorded about 7000 years of human activities, giving us an account of the beginning and foretelling how everything will end. Around 6000 years had passed and another 1000 years (Revelation 20:1-4) are coming.
During that 1000 years, the condition of the Garden of Eden will be restored. Men will live out their full lifespan and any one who dies before 100 years old is considered accursed (Isaiah 65:20). The wolf and the lamb will feed together. The lion will eat grass like a cow. Snakes will no longer be poisonous and dust shall be its food (Isaiah 11:6-9, Isaiah 65:25).
16-year-old Greta Thunberg is so worried about global warming because she does not believe in the Bible. But global warming will come, together with many bad things (wars, famine, pollution, water become undrinkable, earthquakes, meteorites) and will last for a short while. Then it will go away to make way for the glorious millennial reign of Christ.
Short note on vegetarian diet
I have a friend who always recommend the vegetarian diet. But I said I will be a vegetarian when lions eat grass like the cow. He thought I am trying to put an impossible condition so that I will never become a vegetarian. He does not know the Bible.

Global Warming Will Happen
The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and the sun was allowed to scorch people with fire. They were seared by the intense heat and they cursed the name of God, who had control over these plagues, but they refused to repent and glorify him. (Revelation 16:8-9 NIV)
16-year-old Greta Thunberg made an emotional speech to the United Nations on Monday (2019-09-23) as she chided world leaders for having "stolen my dreams and my childhood" with their inaction on climate change.
But even everyone in the world heeded her plea and start to do everything they can to prevent global warming immediately, global warming will still come. It is the sun, not the people on earth, that will ultimately have a profound impact on earth's climate.
The Bible has warned us that global warming will be here for a reason and for a season. Go and read about it in the Book of Revelation of Jesus Christ in the Bible.

Love - Bible vs Koran
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8 NASB)
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16 KJV)
Who does Allah love?
The following answer came from the website "Who and What Does Allah Love?"
QUOTE
Short Answer: Allah loves the patient, the steadfast, the doers of good, those who act justly, those who purify themselves and repent regularly, those who are righteous / God-fearing, the God-conscious, those who do what their Creator asked them to do and refrain from what He prohibited them from doing.
UNQUOTE
Allah is merciful
According to Surah 39:53, Allah also give life long opportunity for sinners to repent. He is merciful. But mercy is injustice. But Allah does not give too much thought about that, unlike the God of the Bible, who has to be just and made effort to reconcile justice and mercy.
Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful." (39:53 Sahih International version)
Loving God
Jesus said if you love God, keep His commandments.
If ye love me, keep my commandments. (John 14:15 KJV)
According to Surah 3:31, if you love Allah, you must follow Mohammed, then Allah will love you.
Say, (O Muhammad, to mankind): If ye love Allah, follow me; Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. (3:31 Pickthall version)
Ultimate difference
The ultimate difference between the God of the Bible and Allah is that God demonstrates His love for us by action, but Allah just speaks about love.

Topics Of Interest For Those Who Believe In Genesis Creation Account
Evolution thrives in ignorance. As knowledge increases, evolution become more and more improbable. I found this link "Topics of Interest: Molecular History Research Center" which contains many articles which may prove that Genesis creation is true. From this link, I realized that many of these information were actually discovered quite some time ago. They are not new. Even the ancient cell theory proves that abiogenesis is not possible. Life can only come from life. Anyway, as science progress, knowledge increase and we are closer and closer to prove that Genesis creation account is the real scientific truth. Anything that is true can be proven to be true.
For we cannot do anything against the truth, but only for the truth. (2 Corinthians 13:8 ESV)

Purpose Of Works
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV)
So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified. (Galatians 2:16b NIV)
If good works is not required for salvation, why do good? Why don't we continue sinning (Romans 6:1) since Jesus had already paid the penalty for our sins in full (Hebrews 10:14)?
Firstly, we do good works, not because we need them for our salvation, but we do it out of gratitude to our God who has so freely given everything to us (1 John 4:19, Ephesians 4:32, Colossians 3:12-13, Matthew 10:8). Our motivation is gratitude, not servitude.
Secondly, our works is an assurance of salvation to ourselves, showing that we are bearing fruits (Matthew 7:16, John 15:4).
Finally, our works is a witness to others of God's grace and salvation. As salt and light, God works through us to preserve and show His righteousness and to change the society. Our works glorify God.
God works through us. The only real work that God requires from us is to believe in Him (John 6:29).
Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure. (Philippians 2:12-13 ESV)
And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns. (Philippians 1:6 NLT)

Only Jesus Can Save There Is None Else
As He was setting out on a journey, a man ran up to Him and knelt before Him, and asked Him, "Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?" And Jesus said to him, "Why do you call Me good? No one is good except God alone. You know the commandments, 'Do not murder, Do not commit adultery, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Do not defraud, Honor your father and mother.'" And he said to Him, "Teacher, I have kept all these things from my youth up." Looking at him, Jesus felt a love for him and said to him, "One thing you lack: go and sell all you possess and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me." But at these words he was saddened, and he went away grieving, for he was one who owned much property.
And Jesus, looking around, *said to His disciples, "How hard it will be for those who are wealthy to enter the kingdom of God!" The disciples were amazed at His words. But Jesus *answered again and *said to them, "Children, how hard it is to enter the kingdom of God! It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God." They were even more astonished and said to Him, "Then who can be saved?" Looking at them, Jesus *said, "With people it is impossible, but not with God; for all things are possible with God." (Mark 10:17-27 NASB)
"And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12 NASB)

- Jesus said only the righteous can have eternal life. (Mark 10:17-19)
- Many people think they are good enough. (Mark 10:20)
- But the Bible says there is none righteous enough to be saved. (1 Kings 8:46, Job 25:4, Psalm 14:1-3, Psalm 53:1-3, Psalm 143:2, Proverbs 20:9, Ecclesiastes 7:20, Roman 3:10, Romans 3:23, Galatians 2:16, 1 John 1:8)
- Only God can save the sinner by justifying the sinner. (Romans 8:33, Genesis 15:6, Romans 4:3, Romans 4:22)
- He did so by providing His Son Jesus as the propitiation for our sins and the sins of the whole world. (Isaiah 53:5, Romans 5:6, 2 Corinthians 5:21, Galatians 1:4, Hebrews 2:17, 1 Peter 2:24, 1 Peter 3:18, 1 John 2:2)
- Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. (Romans 8:1)

Shout From The Roof
What I tell you now in the darkness, shout abroad when daybreak comes. What I whisper in your ear, shout from the housetops for all to hear! (Matthew 10:27 NLT)
I want to shout from the roof, "Jesus saves! He is the only Saviour and there is none beside Him!"
A lot of people think that they are not going to hell because they are they are good people, not perfect, but good enough. But they don't understand. People go to hell for unbelief, not just for robberies, rapes or murders.
"And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12 NASB)
Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. (John 3:18 ESV)

God's Word Makes One Wise
Oh, how I love your law! I meditate on it all day long.
Your commands are always with me and make me wiser than my enemies.
I have more insight than all my teachers, for I meditate on your statutes.
I have more understanding than the elders, for I obey your precepts.
(Psalm 119:97-100 NIV)
God's word made me wiser than my enemies, teachers and elders.

Evolution And Mitochondrial DNA Mutation Rate
Evolution is the fake news that many atheists wanted to believe to be true. As early as 1998, secular science found that mitochondrial Eve, the mother of all humans today, could be about 6000 years old. The age of mitochondrial Eve is dependent on the mutation rate of the mitochondrial DNA.
Here is a quote from an article in "Science 02 Jan 1998, Vol. 279, Issue 5347, pages 28, Calibrating the Mitochondrial Clock by Ann Gibbons (News this Week | Science)".
QUOTE
Regardless of the cause, evolutionists are most concerned about the effect of a faster mutation rate. For example, researchers have calculated that "mitochondrial Eve" - the woman whose mtDNA was ancestral to that in all living people - lived 100,000 to 200,000 years ago in Africa. Using the new clock, she would be a mere 6000 years old.

The Real Karma
When you throw a stone in a body of calm water, a nice ripple of circular wave will appear on the surface of the water. If you throw with a greater force, the ripple of wave will be stronger.
This is how the real karma behave. Every action will generate a reaction from the time the action was done and how long and how widespread the effect of the reaction will be depend on the impact of the action.
Example:
When Adam sinned, his impact is on the whole human race because he is the ancestor of all human beings.
Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, in this way death spread to all people, because all sinned. (Romans 5:12 CSB)

Why Western Democracy Wins
Many attribute the success of America and Western Europe to democracy. Always remember this, it was Athenian democracy that put Socrates to death. So why did European democracy succeed where Athenian democracy failed? Why did science, and all the benefits of modern civilisation, come from Europe, and not the other ancient civilizations of China and India? Mr S Rajaratnam, the former foreign minister of Singapore attempted to answer this question but he gave the wrong answer. He attributed the failure of China and India to hubris, always looking to a past golden age, instead of looking forward. He attributed the success of Europe to the fact that they are looking forward to a future golden age.
The truth is it is not democracy that make Europe great. It is Christianity and its emphasis on truth that make Europe great. Democracy just provides the political infrastructure to propagate truth. So even a dictator who allows truth in his domain will prosper. In fact, during the millennium, Christ will rule the nations as a dictator with an iron rod (Revelation 19:15, Revelation 2:26-27).
Who is Christ? He said that He is "the Truth (John 14:6)". And truth is a dictator. You cannot disagree with truth. Truth always win. Even democracy loses to truth. If everybody in the world were to vote that cows have two heads, cows will still have one head.
Dictatorship and democracy are just political infrastructures. Success is dependant on recognising truth and allowing truth to has its way.
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. (John 8:32 KJV)

Paradise Lost And Found
And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day. (Genesis 1:31 ESV)
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth and it was very good.
And the Lord God commanded the man, "You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die." (Genesis 2:16-17 NIV)
Everything was perfect and there was no sin and no death. God created man and gave him only one commandment to follow. Life was good and easy. Man has everything in the world, except for one tree.
The serpent was the shrewdest of all the wild animals the LORD God had made. One day he asked the woman, "Did God really say you must not eat the fruit from any of the trees in the garden?" "Of course we may eat fruit from the trees in the garden,” the woman replied. "It’s only the fruit from the tree in the middle of the garden that we are not allowed to eat. God said, 'You must not eat it or even touch it; if you do, you will die.'" "You won't die!" the serpent replied to the woman. "God knows that your eyes will be opened as soon as you eat it, and you will be like God, knowing both good and evil." (Genesis 3:1-5 NLT)
One day, man had to make a choice. He had to choose whether to believe in the word of God or not. He had to choose between obedience and disobedience, between life and death.
Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves. (Genesis 3:7 NIV)
Man has everything in the world, except for one tree. Man had only one commandment to follow. Man chose to break that commandment to get the tree. He wanted his eyes to be opened. His eyes were opened and he did not like what he saw.
Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, in this way death spread to all people, because all sinned. (Romans 5:12 CSB)
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23 NIV)
So with man's disobedience came sin. With sin came death and death spread to all descendants of man. But the good news is that God offered us another choice, to believe His Word and accept His gift of eternal life in Jesus. We now face the same choice as our first ancestor. We have to choose whether to believe in the word of God or not. We have to choose between obedience and disobedience, between life and death.
For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead also comes through a man. (1 Corinthians 15:21 CSB)
The simple logic of salvation is this: if death had came through one man, life also come through one man. But how do we know which man to follow?
We know that Christ, being raised from the dead, will never die again; death no longer has dominion over him. (Romans 6:9 ESV)
The man who has life must be the man who conquered death. This man is Jesus Christ because Jesus was resurrected from the dead historically (not mythologically) and He has conquered death. The question is, do you believe? Or are you like Adam, who chose not to believe and die?
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth and it was very good.

Karma - Real And False (真假因果報應)
This is the real karma.
Every action that a man does (cause 因) will generate a reaction (effect 果) from the time the action was done.
This is the false karma.
Every action that a man does (cause 因) will generate a reaction (effect 果) back to himself.

God Offered Us A Choice
God offered us a choice of belief and unbelief, life and death.
It was like that from the beginning.
And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, "You may surely eat of every tree of the garden, but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die." (Genesis 2:16-17 ESV)
In the beginning, creation was good and perfect and there was no death. Adam chose unbelief, and sin and death entered the world.
It is the same today.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16 KJV)
Today, through the choice of Adam, the world is sinful and imperfect and there is death. But God has made us an offer through His word, the Bible. He offered us eternal life if we believe in Him. If we do not belief, we will die.
It was like that from the beginning.
And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, "You may surely eat of every tree of the garden, but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die." (Genesis 2:16-17 ESV)

Mercy Is Injustice
Has it ever occur to you that it is so unfair that you, as a Christian, are saved, but not the other guy, who may be a better person than you are?
Mercy is injustice. Grace is unfair. When all have sinned and some are punished by death in an eternal hell and others obtained mercy by the grace of God and are not punished, God becomes unjust.
But God is just. How does God reconcile mercy and justice?
God sent His only begotten Son, Jesus, to die for the sins of the world. People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus had died for their sin. Mercy is now freely available to the sinner because God had paid the price for justice.
God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood - to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished - he did it to demonstrate his righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus. (Romans 3:25-26 NIV)
He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world. (1 John 2:2 ESV)
For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit. (1 Peter 3:18 NIV)
He does not deal with us according to our sins, nor repay us according to our iniquities. (Psalm 103:10 ESV)
If you, O LORD, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? But with you there is forgiveness, that you may be feared. (Psalm 130:3-4 ESV)
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV)

Loving God
If you love me, you will keep my commandments. (John 14:15 ESV)
Jesus answered him, "If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. (John 14:23 ESV)
Loving God means keeping his commandments, and his commandments are not burdensome. (1 John 5:3 NLT)
Another example of love:
So Jacob served seven years to get Rachel, but they seemed like only a few days to him because of his love for her. (Genesis 29:20 NIV)

New Year Resolutions 2019 - To Resume Again
A sad reminder of my sinful nature as a fallen sinner, I had once again not fulfil my 2019 resolution made at the beginning of the year to pray the following (as advised by Rev Stephen Schaefer, revised and revived by me on 30-June-2019) daily:
This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. (Galatians 5:16 KJV)
Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person. (Colossians 4:6 ESV)
So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. (1 Corinthians 10:31 ESV)
Additionally I would also like to bring to my remembrance the three requests I made in 1979, for the perseverance of Jacob, the heart of David and the power of Elijah.
And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed. (Genesis 32:28 KJV)
And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will. (Acts 13:22 KJV)
Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. (James 5:17 KJV)
- Be filled with the Spirit and have room for nothing else (Ephesians 5:18);
- Walk in the Spirit and not fulfil the lust of the flesh (Galatians 5:16);
- Speak gracious words to glorify God (Colossians 4:6);
- Glorify God in all I do (1 Corinthians 10:31).
This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. (Galatians 5:16 KJV)
