Fig Leaves And Animal Skin

And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. (Genesis 3:7 KJV)

Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them. (Genesis 3:21 KJV)

The best that Adam and Eve could do to cover their shame is to sew fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves. They had no right to kill animals and skin them for clothing. Only God can provide that.

The first death(s) in the Garden of Eden were that of the animal or animals killed and skinned. I wonder what animal was that. Did it become extinct immediately? Or did the Lord create 7 pairs for clean animals, like the case in Noah's ark? Is there any distinction between clean and unclean animals before the fall?
